This Privacy Policy explains how Kairos Global LLC, doing business as Kairos Land Group (“Kairos”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit kairoslandgroup.com, fill out a form, or communicate with us by email or text message. When you use a form on this website or contact us, we collect what you provide. Depending on the form, that can include:
- your name, company and role, email address and phone number
- for builders and developers: the areas you build in, your lot criteria, price range and purchase terms
- for landowners: your property address or parcel number, county, state, approximate acreage and anything else you tell us about the property
- whether you agreed to receive text messages, the exact consent wording shown, and when you agreed
- the content of any message you send us
Information from public records and other sources
To find land that may fit our builder partners’ needs, we use public property records, which show who owns each parcel and the owner’s mailing address, along with information about the parcel itself. We may also obtain contact details, such as a phone number or email address, from commercially available data providers. We use this information only to contact owners about buying their land.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, for security and to keep the site running. If we use website analytics, we use a privacy-friendly service that does not use cookies to track you across websites. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam, which may process limited technical information about your browser and device.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiries and requests
- for builders and developers: find lots that match your criteria and send you lots that fit
- for landowners: evaluate your property, make an offer, and complete a purchase if you choose to sell
- send you messages you have agreed to receive, and honor opt-out requests
- run, secure and improve this website
- comply with the law and protect our rights
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your property or, for builders, about lots that match your criteria. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of selling land to us or working with us.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us send messages on our behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us operate, such as website hosting, email delivery, text-messaging and data-management providers, who may use it only to provide services to us
- with builder partners, about a property: when we buy or are under contract to buy land, we share information about the property, such as its location, size and condition, with the builders we work with. We do not give builders a landowner’s personal contact details for their own marketing.
- with the parties needed to complete a transaction you are part of, such as closing and legal professionals
- when required by law or to protect our rights, safety or property
- as part of a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of our business
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to keep records of transactions and of consent and opt-out requests, and to meet legal requirements. We then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
- Stop texts: reply STOP to any text message.
- Stop emails or calls: email us at anjal@kairoslandgroup.com and we will stop contacting you.
- Access, correct or delete: email us to ask what personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We may need to confirm your identity, and we may keep information we are required to keep by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws. Contact us and we will respond as the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
